Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (13/12/2024) at 14.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots (bulb), broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp3,550 (13.16%) to Rp30,520 per kg. The price of shallots (bulb) saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp350 (0.92%) to Rp37,840 per kg.
