Current Food Prices in Central Java: Eggs Rise, Red Chilies Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (September 29, 2025) at 2:28 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are skipjack tuna, milkfish, packaged cooking oil, dried soybean seeds (imported), and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, bulk cooking oil, consumption salt, SPHP rice, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices rose the highest by Rp216 (0.67%) to Rp32,317 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp2,605 (4.85%) to Rp51,122 per kg.
