Current Food Prices in Lampung: Red Chili Prices Up, Bird's Eye Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (5/10/2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include milkfish, packaged cooking oil, consumption sugar, consumption salt, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (imported), red bird's eye chili, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp2,519 (4.92%) to Rp53,750 per kg. Meanwhile, corn prices at the farmer level dropped the sharpest by Rp1,000 (15.38%) to Rp5,500 per kg.
