Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Egg, Onion, and Buffalo Meat Prices Decline

Prices of several food items in Central Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (October 28, 2025) at 09:53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red onion, premium rice, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, packaged cooking oil, corn at farmer level, and garlic bulb decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt commodity surged the highest by Rp508 (4.77%) to Rp11,147 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili dropped the sharpest by Rp3,102 (10.88%) to Rp25,421 per kg.
