Bali's Daily Food Prices: Onion and Sugar Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Bali today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (20/11/2024) at 11.13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, curly red chilies, broiler chicken, premium rice, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, milkfish, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase, jumping Rp220 (4.12%) to Rp5,560 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp1,030 (3.23%) to Rp30,850 per kg.
