The average daily price of medium-sized shallots at traditional markets in East Java Province has decreased by 21.78% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in East Java Province increased by Rp100 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp46,900.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets has increased from Rp32,450.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in East Java over the past three months has increased by 21.19% from the previous price of Rp38,700.

The record high for the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2024 with a 38.09% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2017 with a -26.62% decrease.

According to PIHPS, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in East Java today show 14 commodities decreased and nine others increased. The sembako with decreased prices are: Daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Premium Quality Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.
