West Java Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Rise, Beef Prices Fall (Friday, April 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (12/4/2024) at 11:11 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, broiler chicken, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, dry soybean (import), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was red chilies, up by Rp7,650 (14.49%) to Rp60,460 per kg. The lowest price decrease was pure beef, down Rp7,240 (4.76%) to Rp144,990 per kg.
