Food Prices Today (25/11) in East Java: Red Chili and Oil Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (25/11/2025) at 17.39 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were Minyakita (cooking oil), curly red chili, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken eggs, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity jumped highest by Rp714 (1.43%) to Rp50,690 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili fell sharpest by Rp394 (1.04%) to Rp37,515 per kg.

5. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp37,515 per kg (down 1.04%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,591 per kg (stable)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp29,900 per kg (stable)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,902 per kg (down 0.27%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,174 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,064 per liter (stable)
11. Minyakita (Cooking Oil): Rp16,418 per liter (up 0.27%)
12. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,142 per kg (stable)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,780 per kg (stable)
14. Medium Rice: Rp13,067 per kg (stable)
15. Imported Soybeans: Rp12,850 per kg (stable)
