Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices Friday (29/11): Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (29/11/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp550 (4.77%) to Rp12,070 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the steepest price drop, decreasing Rp5,090 (24.87%) to Rp15,380 per kg.
