Jambi Food Prices on Monday (August 12th): Onions Up, Chilies Down

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (12/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, milkfish, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, skipjack tuna, medium rice, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp390 (1.31%) to Rp30,110 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most sharply by Rp1,600 (3.74%) to Rp41,140 per kg.
