Today's Food Prices (March 12) in Bali: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Red Chili Falls

Several food commodity prices in Bali today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (March 12, 2026) at 1:56 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

The commodities that saw price increases are shallots, Honan garlic, bulk palm cooking oil, red bird's eye chili, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp1,482 (1.69%) to Rp89,173 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp296 (0.72%) to Rp41,000 per kg.
