West Java Food Price Update Today: Beef Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Monday, April 15, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (15/4/2024) at 08.11 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged simple cooking oil, granulated sugar, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, shallots, broiler chicken, chicken eggs, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef experienced the highest price increase of Rp18,120 (12.77%) to Rp160,000 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt had the lowest price decrease of Rp2,520 (23.95%) to Rp8,000 per kg.

2. Red Chili Peppers: Rp50,000 per kg (down 5.98%)
3. Curly Red Chili Peppers: Rp45,000 per kg (down 16.17%)
4. Shallots: Rp40,000 per kg (down 21.06%)
5. Broiler Chicken: Rp40,000 per kg (down 4.97%)
6. Garlic Bulbs: Rp36,000 per kg (down 12.0%)
7. Milkfish: Rp35,000 per kg (down 5.05%)
8. Mackerel: Rp32,000 per kg (down 19.44%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 17.13%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,000 per kg (down 5.43%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (up 3.69%)
12. Packaged Simple Cooking Oil: Rp17,500 per liter (up 2.7%)
