Lampung Food Prices Thursday (9/1): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (9/1/2025) at 10:32 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, red chilies, chicken eggs, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, shallots, farmer-level corn, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp4,250 (7.25%) to Rp62,870 per kg. The price of mackerel decreased the most, by Rp3,770 (11.45%) to Rp29,160 per kg.
