10 Provinces with the Highest Fresh Chicken Prices (Monday, March 25, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh broiler chicken (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 43,110 per kg, as of Monday, March 25, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 43,420 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler chicken in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 59,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler chicken in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 38,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in DKI Jakarta, the price of fresh broiler chicken was sold at Rp 54,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler chicken in Maluku was Rp 54,000 per kg, Gorontalo Rp 53,450 per kg, and Bali Rp 52,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 20 provinces with fresh broiler chicken sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler chicken are Bangka Belitung Islands, West Kalimantan, and West Sulawesi.
