Central Java Food Prices Saturday (August 3rd): Cooking Oil Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (3/8/2024) at 11:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp230 (1.44%) to Rp16,180 per liter. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp220 (1.94%) to Rp11,140 per kg.
