Today's Food Price List in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chicken and Onion Prices Rise (Friday, March 22, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (22/3/2024) at 12:12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, garlic bulbs, farmer-level corn, broiler chicken meat, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, curly red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken eggs, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,370 (4.61%) to Rp31,080 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the lowest price decrease, falling Rp3,600 (9.12%) to Rp35,870 per kg.
