Latest Food Prices in Bali: Onions Up, Chili Padi Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (September 10, 2025) at 3:05 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include consumption sugar, mackerel, Minyakita cooking oil, garlic bulbs, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, corn at farmer level, packaged wheat flour, broiler eggs, and dried soybean seeds (imported) decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red onions saw the highest increase of Rp1,198 (3.63%) to Rp34,174 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili padi prices experienced the sharpest decline of Rp658 (2.08%) to Rp30,913 per kg.

Here is the complete list of 23 food commodity prices in Bali according to Bapanas on September 10, 2025, at 3:05 PM WIB.

6. Curly Red Chili: Rp33,471 per kg (up 1.77%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,333 per kg (up 2.44%)
8. Red Chili Padi: Rp30,913 per kg (down 2.08%)
9. Garlic Bulbs: Rp30,739 per kg (up 0.39%)
10. Large Red Chili: Rp29,783 per kg (up 0.23%)
11. Broiler Eggs: Rp27,596 per kg (down 0.2%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp19,478 per liter (up 0.25%)
