10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Premium Sugar (Monday, July 15, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 18,630 per kg for premium granulated sugar in modern markets across several provinces as of Monday, July 15, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 18,510 per kg.

The highest daily price for premium granulated sugar in modern markets was recorded in Papua at Rp 23,250 per kg, the most expensive in Indonesia. Compared to a month ago, the price of premium granulated sugar in this province is higher, previously recorded at Rp 12,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, premium granulated sugar was sold at Rp 22,400 per kg, the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of premium granulated sugar was Rp 21,000 per kg in West Sulawesi, Rp 20,450 per kg in Central Sulawesi, and Rp 20,250 per kg in Gorontalo.

Meanwhile, 22 provinces recorded premium granulated sugar prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest premium granulated sugar prices were Central Java, Bengkulu, and Banten.
