Latest Food Prices in Banten Region: Red Chili Prices Rise, Buffalo Meat Falls

The prices of several food items in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (15/11/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 17 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include garlic cloves, bulk cooking oil, large red chilies, SPHP rice, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, frozen buffalo meat (imported), dried soybean seeds (imported), consumption salt, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest surge, Rp2,938 (5.02%) to Rp61,471 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported) experienced the deepest fall, Rp5,000 (4.35%) to Rp110,000 per kg.
