Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices Saturday (November 23rd): Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (23/11/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, red chilies, chicken meat, shallots, and dry soybeans (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp2,340 (6.07%) to Rp40,890 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the most sharply, by Rp450 (3.1%) to Rp14,070 per kg.
