Aceh Food Prices Wednesday (January 8th): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (8/1/2025) at 18:56 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most by Rp1,590 (3.47%) to Rp47,430 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most sharply by Rp3,300 (8.85%) to Rp33,980 per kg.
