Latest Food Prices in West Java: Salt, Rice and Egg Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (19/8/2025) at 12:08 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are pure beef, corn at farmer level, packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, premium rice, consumption salt, Minyakita, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp1,049 (2.92%) to Rp36,993 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices decreased the most by Rp1,376 (3.03%) to Rp44,108 per kg.

5. Large Red Chili: Rp39,851 per kg (down 1.16%)
6. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp38,411 per kg (up 1.5%)
7. Milkfish: Rp37,371 per kg (down 0.5%)
8. Curly Red Chili: Rp36,993 per kg (up 2.92%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,500 per kg (down 0.13%)
10. Garlic Bulb: Rp34,934 per kg (up 1.73%)
