Today's Food Prices in Jambi Region: Egg and Chili Prices Rise

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, red chilies, chicken eggs, milkfish, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, SPHP rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,120 (6.13%) to Rp36,720 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing Rp190 (0.86%) to Rp21,860 per kg.
