Local Granulated Sugar Prices in Traditional Markets for March 2025-2026

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in Bali province is recorded at Rp17,600. This price remains unchanged from the previous day, as has been the trend over the past week.

Compared to the past month, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp17,250.

Meanwhile, over the past three months, the daily price of local granulated sugar in Bali's traditional markets has decreased by 1.95%. Based on historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of local granulated sugar in Bali's traditional markets was traded at Rp17,950.

The record increase in the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2020 with a 12.36% rise, while the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a -13.57% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, among the nine staple foods (sembako) tracked today in Bali, three commodities have decreased in price and 23 have increased. The sembako with price drops are Chicken Meat, Medium I Quality Rice, and Fresh Breed Chicken Meat.
