Today's Food Prices March 10 in West Java: Red Chili Up, Eggs Down

Several food commodity prices in West Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) at 17:28 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases include premium rice, broiler chicken meat, large red chili, shallots, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler eggs and beef rump decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp1,334 (3.42%) to Rp40,380 per kg. Meanwhile, broiler egg prices fell the most by Rp154 (0.5%) to Rp30,707 per kg.

5. Shallots: Rp38,951 per kg (up 0.86%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp38,049 per kg (up 1.85%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp34,987 per kg (up 0.81%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp30,707 per kg (down 0.5%)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,324 per liter (unchanged)
