Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta March 10: Soybean and Garlic Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta were observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 11 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include loose granulated sugar, premium packaged palm cooking oil, premium rice, Minyakita, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as chicken eggs, wheat flour, shallots, broiler chicken meat, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Imported soybeans had the highest increase of Rp400 (2.68%) to Rp15,300 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices fell the most by Rp834 (1.59%) to Rp51,583 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp51,208 per kg (up 0.74%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp42,250 per kg (down 0.29%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp42,194 per kg (up 0.5%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp31,917 per kg (down 0.26%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,458 per liter (up 0.59%)
10. Loose Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,050 per liter (up 0.28%)
11. Loose Granulated Sugar: Rp18,542 per kg (up 0.46%)
12. Premium Rice: Rp16,401 per kg (up 0.25%)
