Today's Food Prices March 10 in East Java: Red Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) at 18:05 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, bulk granulated sugar, bulk palm cooking oil, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, premium packaged palm cooking oil, red bird's eye chili, shallots, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp598 (1.91%) to Rp31,863 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices fell the deepest by Rp265 (0.74%) to Rp35,349 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp31,863 per kg (up 1.91%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp30,606 per kg (down 0.09%)
7. Large Red Chili: Rp29,394 per kg (up 1.31%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,111 per kg (down 0.24%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,160 per liter (down 0.01%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,002 per liter (up 0.57%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,486 per kg (up 0.08%)
