Daily Price of Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets, January 2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of local granulated sugar in Bali's traditional markets is recorded at Rp17,600. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from Rp17,250.

Meanwhile, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in Bali over the past three months has decreased by 1.95%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of local granulated sugar in Bali's traditional markets was traded at Rp17,950.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of local granulated sugar in the province's traditional markets was in June 2020, with an increase of 12.36%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017, with a decrease of -13.57%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Bali show three commodities decreased and 23 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Meat, Medium Grade I Rice, and Fresh Chicken Meat.
