Today's Food Prices March 04 in DKI Jakarta: Beef Up, Onions Down

Some food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 4, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases are premium packaged palm cooking oil, hindquarter beef, red bird's eye chili, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as large red chili, broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Hindquarter beef had the highest price increase of Rp1,847 (1.3%) to Rp143,583 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion had the sharpest price drop of Rp1,041 (1.93%) to Rp52,917 per kg.
