Food Prices Today, January 23, in Banten: Red Chili Up, Chicken Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (Jan 23, 2026) at 13:29 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are curly red chili and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, red onion, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp1,000 (2.68%) to Rp38,333 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken meat dropped the sharpest by Rp2,000 (5.59%) to Rp33,800 per kg.
