Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Red Chili, Rice, and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (Sept 28, 2025) at 14:28 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include milkfish, premium rice, packaged wheat flour, shallots, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, broiler eggs, dried soybean (imported), pure beef, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity recorded the highest increase of Rp536 (1.01%) to Rp53,727 per kg. Meanwhile, broiler egg prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp126 (0.45%) to Rp27,897 per kg.
