East Java Food Prices Latest: Buffalo Meat Prices Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (22/9/2025) at 09.48 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 16 increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include curly red chili, large red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, consumption salt, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported) surged the highest by Rp120,000 (inf%) to Rp120,000 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices fell the deepest by Rp1,125 (3.42%) to Rp31,786 per kg.
