Food Prices Today in Aceh: Buffalo Meat Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (October 8, 2025) at 15:04 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 15 increased and 7 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption salt, packaged cooking oil, fresh buffalo meat (local), consumption sugar, and red onions.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic, pure beef, red cayenne pepper, SPHP rice, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fresh buffalo meat (local) saw the highest increase of Rp4,667 (3.26%) to Rp148,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper fell the sharpest by Rp714 (1.59%) to Rp44,286 per kg.
