Lampung Region's Latest Food Prices: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Wednesday, March 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (13/3/2024) at 13.32 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, mackerel, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, pure beef, medium rice, granulated sugar, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,560 (27.18%) to Rp7,300 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp790 (1.35%) to Rp57,860 per kg.
