Food Prices Today, January 29, in West Java: Rice, Egg, and Chicken Meat Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 29, 2026) at 5:12 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Only red chili peppers saw a price increase.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, curly red chilies, broiler eggs, large red chilies, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest increase of Rp2,550 (4.67%) to Rp57,200 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp454 (1.23%) to Rp36,596 per kg.
