West Java Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Saturday, April 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 12:03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, bulk wheat flour, Indian mackerel, granulated sugar, and medium-grain rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,440 (7.16%) to Rp36,510 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili pepper prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp3,450 (5.89%) to Rp55,090 per kg.
