Today''s Food Prices in Indonesia: Beef Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (September 11, 2025) at 09.12 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 23 commodities decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are pure beef and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, SPHP rice, corn at farmer level, large red chili, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Skipjack tuna commodity saw the highest increase of Rp501 (1.44%) to Rp35,305 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili decreased the sharpest by Rp3,194 (7.0%) to Rp42,446 per kg.

6. Large Red Chili: Rp42,446 per kg (down 7.0%)
7. Mackerel: Rp41,326 per kg (down 0.8%)
8. Shallot: Rp41,257 per kg (down 3.85%)
9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,707 per kg (down 0.62%)
10. Garlic Bulb: Rp36,178 per kg (down 3.37%)
11. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,305 per kg (up 1.44%)
