Food Prices Today, December 12, in Bali: Red Chili Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (12/12/2025) at 4:48 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 2 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are curly red chili, large red chili, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity surged the most by Rp1,667 (4.02%) to Rp43,167 per kg. Meanwhile, red cayenne pepper prices fell the deepest by Rp6,667 (8.29%) to Rp73,722 per kg.

7. Honan Garlic: Rp33,472 per kg (up 2.55%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,733 per kg (stable)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,819 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,208 per liter (stable)
