Fresh Chicken Egg Prices Highest in These 10 Provinces (Monday, January 29, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of fresh chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 32,330 per kg as of Monday, January 29, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 32,300 per kg.

The daily price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 49,350 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh chicken eggs in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 27,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Papua, the price of fresh chicken eggs was sold at Rp 44,350 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh chicken eggs in Gorontalo was Rp 43,800 per kg, East Nusa Tenggara Rp 41,300 per kg, and Bali Rp 38,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 18 provinces with fresh chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh chicken eggs are Central Java, Bangka Belitung Islands, and West Sulawesi.
