Latest Food Prices in West Papua, What is the Price of Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in West Papua today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (August 12, 2025) at 10:58 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 increased and 8 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, dry soybean seeds (imported), and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, Minyakita, packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp24,000 (36.36%) to Rp90,000 per kg. Meanwhile, packaged cooking oil prices dropped the most by Rp8,056 (26.8%) to Rp22,000 per liter.

6. Mackerel: Rp62,500 per kg (up 13.64%)
7. Shallots: Rp50,000 per kg (down 1.64%)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp48,333 per kg (up 3.57%)
9. Garlic Bulb: Rp47,500 per kg (down 2.84%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp42,500 per kg (down 9.57%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp37,119 per kg (up 0.05%)
