Latest Food Prices in West Java: Onions Up, Fish Down (Saturday, December 23, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 11:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, shallots, premium rice, medium rice, and shallots (bulb).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, Indian mackerel, fine iodized salt, bulk cooking oil, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,440 (4.35%) to Rp34,550 per kg. Milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,570 (4.17%) to Rp36,080 per kg.
