Latest Food Prices in West Sumatra: Chicken Meat and Oil Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (28/9/2025) at 15:06 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 8 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include mackerel, packaged cooking oil, pure beef, garlic, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, broiler eggs, Minyakita, SPHP rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp3,328 (6.14%) to Rp57,528 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp5,000 (11.11%) to Rp40,000 per kg.
