The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in Bali with weekly average vaccinations above the Bali average, currently recorded at 1,650 doses as of Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with averages above 2,000 doses are Denpasar City, Badung, and Gianyar, with values of 4,159 doses, 3,876 doses, and 1,887 doses respectively.
Denpasar City ranks first with a weekly average vaccination of 4,159 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 2.02 million doses. In the national dashboard data recapitulation, the complete vaccination achievement in this region has reached 155.12 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this city will run out in the next 12 days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the available stock of 52,306 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in Bali.
Next is Badung, which recorded a weekly average vaccination of 3,876 doses, lower than the previous week. Badung is in second place. With this average vaccine usage, the vaccine stock in this region will be sufficient for the next seven days. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 29,108 doses.
Following is Gianyar, with a weekly average vaccination of 1,887 doses. Complete vaccination coverage has reached 98.07 percent. The weekly average vaccination in Bangli is 1,318 doses, with complete vaccination achievement at 88.94 percent, and Buleleng with 1,102 doses and complete vaccination achievement at 85.2 percent.
Areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
