The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded four districts/cities with a weekly average vaccination rate above the DKI Jakarta average, currently recorded at 6,833.5 doses as of Friday, May 27, 2022.
The average vaccination rate for the top three districts/cities, with figures above 8,000 doses, are South Jakarta, West Jakarta, and East Jakarta, with values of 11,318 doses, 8,694 doses, and 7,856 doses respectively.
South Jakarta ranks first with the highest weekly vaccination rate. The Ministry of Health recorded an average weekly vaccination of 11,318 doses, unchanged from the previous week. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 7.36 million doses. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination achievement in this region has reached 153.66 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this city will run out in the next 18 days. This remaining usage period is calculated from the remaining stock of 211,820 doses and the highest vaccine usage in the last week in DKI Jakarta.
Next is West Jakarta in second place. The complete vaccination achievement in this city has reached 109.23 percent. Compared to the previous week, the average weekly vaccination in this city reached 8,694 doses. The currently available vaccine stock is 204,830 doses. This stock is estimated to run out in the next 23 days.
Then East Jakarta, with an average weekly vaccination of 7,856 doses, has now achieved 99.11 percent complete vaccination coverage; Central Jakarta with 7,187 doses and 202.95% complete vaccination coverage; and North Jakarta with 5,856 doses and 121.5% complete vaccination coverage.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Central Lampung, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
