Ketapang Residents' Food Consumption Deficiency Rate Drops 11.77% in 2025

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Prevalence of Undernourishment (PoU) in Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan was 11.77% in 2025.

This figure decreased by 1.71% from the previous year's 13.48%, while over the last 5 years it has dropped by 8.63%.

Indonesia's average PoU in 2025 was 7.89%. This means Ketapang Regency's PoU is higher than the national average.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas), PoU is a condition where a person regularly consumes insufficient food to meet the energy needs for a normal, active, and healthy life.
