Boalemo Regency Residents' Food Consumption Deficiency Rate Drops to 15.55% in 2025

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reports that the prevalence of undernourishment (PoU) in Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo reached 15.55% in 2025.

This figure decreased by 0.17% from the previous year's 15.72%, while it increased by 2.56% over the last 5 years.

Indonesia's average PoU in 2025 was 7.89%. This means that PoU in Boalemo Regency is higher than the national average.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas), PoU is a condition where a person regularly consumes an insufficient amount of food to meet the energy needs for a normal, active, and healthy life.
