The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in North Kalimantan with weekly average vaccinations above the average of 539.4 doses as of Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with average vaccination figures above 700 doses are Tarakan City, Nunukan, and Bulungan, with values of 966 doses, 840 doses, and 673 doses respectively.
Tarakan City ranks first with a weekly average vaccination of 966 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 363,740 doses. In the national dashboard data recapitulation, the achievement of complete vaccination in this region has reached 83.96 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this city will run out in the next 30 days. This remaining usage time is calculated from the remaining stock of 29,412 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in North Kalimantan.
Following Nunukan with a vaccination record of 840 doses. The available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 33 days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the available stock of 28,206 doses.
Then, the weekly average vaccination in Bulungan is 673 doses and the achievement of complete vaccination is 81.43 percent; Malinau with vaccination of 137 doses and complete vaccination achievement of 76.69%; and Tana Tidung with vaccination of 81 doses and complete vaccination achievement of 82.11%.
Areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
