The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded four districts/cities in North Maluku with weekly average vaccinations above the regional average, which currently stands at 204 doses as of Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with averages above 300 doses are Ternate City, North Halmahera, and West Halmahera, with values of 442 doses, 315 doses, and 292 doses respectively.
Ternate City recorded the highest weekly average vaccination in North Maluku with 442 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 207,570 doses have been used. Based on national dashboard data, complete vaccination coverage in this region has reached 61.48 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this city will run out in 34 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the available stock of 15,446 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in North Maluku.
Following North Halmahera with a recorded vaccination of 315 doses. The currently available vaccine stock is 57,755 doses. This stock is estimated to last for 183 days.
Then West Halmahera, with a weekly average vaccination of 292 doses, has achieved 39.72 percent complete vaccination coverage; Central Halmahera with a weekly average vaccination of 207 doses and 113.5% complete vaccination coverage; and South Halmahera with 203 doses and 70.88% complete vaccination coverage.
Areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Central Lampung, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
