The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that there are three districts/cities in Aceh with a weekly average vaccination rate above the Aceh average, which currently stands at 1,391.78 doses as of Friday, April 1, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with average vaccination rates above 2,000 doses are Aceh Utara, Aceh Besar, and Pidie, with values of 2,171 doses, 2,081 doses, and 1,966 doses respectively.
Aceh Utara recorded the highest weekly average vaccination rate in Aceh with 2,171 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 481,670 doses have been used. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination rate in this region has reached 59.31 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 18 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the remaining stock of 40,976 doses and the highest vaccine usage in Aceh.
Following Aceh Utara is Aceh Besar with a vaccination rate of 2,081 doses. The currently available vaccine stock is 32,694 doses. This stock is estimated to run out in the next 15 days.
Next is Pidie, with a weekly average vaccination rate of 1,966 doses. The complete vaccination coverage has reached 65.87 percent. Aceh Selatan has a weekly average vaccination rate of 1,147 doses and a complete vaccination coverage of 60.11 percent, while Simeulue has a vaccination rate of 1,132 doses and a complete vaccination coverage of 75.59 percent.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccination rates of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
