Prevalence of Inadequate Food Consumption in Tanah Bumbu Rose 0.67% in the Last 5 Years

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the prevalence of undernourishment (PoU) in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan was 2.48% in 2025.

This figure increased by 0.31% from the previous year's 2.17%, while in the last 5 years it rose by 0.67%.

Indonesia's average PoU in 2025 was 7.89%. This means that the PoU in Tanah Bumbu Regency is lower than the national average.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas), PoU is a condition where a person regularly consumes an insufficient amount of food to meet the energy needs for a normal, active, and healthy life.
